The kiln flue gas from the glass factory has extremely high temperatures (often exceeding 300°C), high dust concentration, and a complex environment with high humidity and corrosive gases (such as SO₂). This leads to short lifespan and large data drift of traditional electrochemical sensors, making it impossible to reliably monitor the key ammonia escape (typically requiring less than 2.5-3 ppm) in the denitrification process, thereby affecting the efficiency of denitrification and meeting environmental protection standards.
We provided a portable laser ammonia analyzer to a large glass factory in East China. Its TDLAS laser technology is interference-resistant and capable of precise measurement. After installation, the customer successfully controlled the ammonia escape concentration within 1.8 ppm, reducing the consumption of ammonia water by 15% compared to before, and helping to keep NOx emissions stable below the limits of the national "Glass Industry Air Pollutants Emission Standard" (GB 26453-2022).
