A large steel factory in East China is facing severe environmental protection challenges: The high-temperature, high-humidity, and high-dust exhaust gases produced during the sintering and steelmaking processes severely interfere with the monitoring of key pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulfur dioxide (SO₂). Traditional sensors have large data drift and short lifespan in complex conditions, failing to meet the ultra-low emission limit requirements of the "Steel Industry Air Pollutant Emission Standard" (GB 28662-2012), and also affecting the precise regulation of desulfurization and denitrification facilities.
We provided them with a portable ultraviolet smoke gas analyzer, which successfully overcame these difficulties by using ultraviolet differential absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) technology. This technology has strong anti-interference ability, directly measures without complex pre-treatment. After application, the customer's data in benchmark monitoring was consistent with the standard method by over 95%, and the time for identifying abnormal emission points was reduced from several hours to 30 minutes, helping to ensure the authenticity and reliability of their environmental protection data and stable compliance. This solution fully supports the core standards of the steel industry. Our company's ISO9001 quality management system certification and product China Environmental Protection Product Certification (CCEP) provide dual guarantees for customers from product quality to compliant application.
